Comments: Awesome signal on 3503 today but on 160 for only a few minutes...why? Everyday 160 is activated there 1.5 hours after my local SR except for a few short trips between 3.5 ops. It appears that there is a conflict with operating both bands at the same time but you are urgently need by stations in the Eastern Caribbean and by 10:00Z our sun is up. The chance to work Rotuma is a one in a lifetime opportunity for a 160 meter nut like me. I will be there as I have been from your local 3D2R sunset to my sunrise. Once I got a short "fz?" but then the signal was gone only to find you minutes later down .5 khz.
I don't know if you will have anymore time for 160 meters during times of common darkness but there are very deep QSB periods and then exciting peaks when a QSO is possible. I am hoping for the best to work you on the band in the tropics were a single static crash can mean the difference between getting in the log or not.
Comments: tnx for activation and good signals over the north pole yesterday at 18:00UTC on 40m. Very difficult to catch you in direct competition to east European stations, who have better propagation in the early evening... Tnx for your good ears... Ulli, ON5KQ
Comments: Thanks for fine work! Good luck team! 73! Alex R7NB.

Comments: As a cw op it is a pleasure to hear these competent ops handling the piles so well. With good sigs from what must be a great set up even the idiots at the zoo feel they have a chance of a qso so there is no feeding frenzy on the 3d2 tx qrg.
This one should go high up in the 'Tent & Generator' list of dx-peditions.
