After days of very poor conditions I finally made it! Thanks Dave (K3LP) for pulling out my weak 80 watts on 17 meters. Conditions are so bad in Southwestern PA that many people cannot even hear you. The only rig that I could hear your sigs were on my IC-756 PRO3. Thanks for all of your hard work. |

fb dr om's--finally got ya on 40 cw this a.m. @abt 0820gmt wid only 100 wtts es alpha-delta 160/80/40 inv-vee at 70 ft. this nw makes both modes;20 ssb es 40 cw-- vy happy..it proves two things;ya don't need a lotta pwr i ya got a gud op on the other end es the old addage \"if ya snooze ya loose\" tnx fer the contax..wat's wrong wid the on line log ?????? be safe es 73, \"greg\" |
