Hi friends,
I did not had any chance to hear you and work you during this 1st day of operation. Any DXCluster spots from Europe I checked immediately, but nothing in north west Germany. My station is not bad, but perhaps the QTH is not the best. In this case my ICOM IC756PRO3, a 6 Element Yagi, 20m above the ground and an ACOM1000 PA is not enough to get any wispering signal from you or you from me..
I hope you will give the little Europeans a chance to reach this rare DXCC. 73 and I will look forward to any possible contact to N8S (KH8/S).

Just worked N8S on 3Ø meters. What a great way to start the day, a good cup of coffee and a DXpedition contact in my log. Yah buddy! 73! |

Someone has good ears! Worked you on 30 meters this morning running 100 watts to a Tarheel Screwdriver antenna fixed on saw horses with 4 slightly elevated radials. I have done OK into Europe with this temporary antenna, but Swains Island with a huge pileup? Wow. Thanks guys. Ham radio still a ton of fun after 52 years. Operations like yours are the best it gets. Will try to catch you on other bands and modes with the same \"small station\" setup. 73 es GL on the rest of your fine DXpedition. |
