You have very good ears ! Unfortunately I had to go on a business trip to Seattle (W7) during your operation, so could not work you from home. Today I tried the impossible: Got my FT817 that I always carry with me on business trips, put it in my rental car together with a mag mount whip of just 2m length, and drove to the Pacific beach (3 hours driving one way just for that, hi). I could work you as W7/DK8OL/m with 5 Watts QRP from the car on 17/CW 17/SSB and 15/SSB in one afternoon! That was one of the most remarkable HAM Radio afternoons in my 32 years of operation. Thanks, you made my day !! More like this please! Great operation, great operators !! 73, Stefan, W7/DK8OL |

Thanks for the contact on 20m SSB Apr 15 3:56 Z. I had been trying to work through the pileups from the begining. My 100w driving a screwdriver did seem to stand a chance from Colorado. A late 20m opening tonight provided my chance and success! Thanks so much! you made a new Ham's week! Ken, N0QO |

Great job guys. I have worked N8S on most of the bands and modes I heard you on using mostly just wire antennae. I even fired up my old Hammarlund SP-600 rcvr with a trap vertical and listened to you all handle the pile-ups. Best wishes from Arizona.
